Learn about Semillitas program, a locally tailored version of a national model (the Savings and Engagement for Education and Development Success, or SEEDS model), powered by Ventures. Semillitas creates automatic Children’s Savings Accounts (CSAs) for all children born in Santa Cruz County. The funds are augmented when health and other milestones are reached, such as pediatric well-child and oral health visits or attendance at parenting classes.
